This was an absolutely poignantly well written blog - and your way with words kept this topic classy and safe. Thank you for your continued transparency and honesty.

"Because items A through C were never about my actual body, even though at first they seem like they are. They were always about feeling good enough about myself to let another person love me completely. "

So well put!! As my husband said to me, "I don't love you more because you've lost weight, I love you more because YOU love you more."

I've never commented on your blog, but I do read it fairly often. THIS post spoke to me, and not because of the sex aspect. For me, it's the loving yourself enough to understand why others love you.

I was thin at one point in my life, but I intentionally made a change to NOT be attractive. That's a whole can of personal issues I'm working through. As I work through them, I realize that those things no longer need to control my life. My past doesn't need to control my future. I CONTROL MY WEIGHT and it's not the other way around. I'm on a very slow journey (averaging a pound a month. I'm comfortable with that).

I'm not an over-eater; I'm an under-eater. I have put my own body into starvation mode, it's no wonder I am devoid of energy! Let me wrap this up before it turns into more of a ramble: Everyone on a weightloss journey should take a good, long look at their relationship with food.
