Talley's Recap with pictures!!!

Ok, in order to take my mind off of the failed diet I am currently suffering (seriously, it's bad. I am not even going to tell you what I am at today, lest I discourage you from dieting yourself! But my scale is very disappointed in me.) (Oh, what the heck. I'm at 177 today. Of course I ate a HUGE porterhouse steak last night and a baked potato with EVERYTHING on it. It was our Valentine's dinner. One night late. So I indulged. But this week I am back on track! I PROMISE!!!!!!) Anyhoo, to take my mind off the diet, today I am showing you pictures from Talley's Folly. Because it was magical. Plus I promised for those of you who were too far away to come. And my husband is adorable!

This was the set. Isn't it amazing? Joe and Dawn at Sleepy Creek Vineyards whipped this out in 2 days. You may also notice that there is writing on the boat. It says "Talley Ho" to which I made the joke that they named the schooner after me. Cause I'm ornery like that.

This was me chugging a bottle of bootleg gin. It was really water, but I got to show off my chug-a-lug skills. I grew up with 2 brothers. (One of whom decided to get appendicitis on opening night. We are a very dramatic family!)

This is my favorite picture from the photos we took. You may notice that one of my girls is glaringly higher than the other. I will tell you that it's because of the dress. Whoever made it (and it was NOT ME) cut it on the bias incorrectly, so the dress was crooked. I subsequently had one bra strap adjusted all the way up, and one all the way at the bottom. But it still looked like that. I couldn't fit both my boobs in the same place at once. So it looked like I was severely lopsided. But I managed. And Matt made sure to try and help adjust me backstage whenever he could.

See all the grey in Matt's beard? He added that. SOME of it. The rest is because he is married to me. He had 2 grey hairs when we met. Since then, he has become VERY distinguished! This is the scene that he was on ice skates. Yep. Ice skates. Which was pretty darn funny. He is not what you would call a beautifully coordinated person.

Over all, we had a great show. In fact, so great that my dahling man has gotten the acting bug once again. He's filled with passion and purpose. And when that happens, Charlie gets herself a man that twitterpates her like no other!

And after seeing some of the pictures of me in a lopsided dress, I have become more convinced than ever that I have got to finish this diet to the bitter end. The photos I did not post here were less than flattering. So it's back on the wagon for me. Weight Watchers, exercising, and serious Biggest Loser workouts. Lee Ann has been working out twice a day, and she is looking SOOOOOO GOOD! So I think that I better get back on the ball before I get out of the habit and gain all this weight back.
Which is good for you. You can all expect my funny fitness fiasco blogs when I am exercising with a vengeance! So, starting tomorrow- when the kids are back at school, I will be going to the YMCA at 9am and working my tooshie off. And walking at the mall that night. It's crunch time, and I think I'm finally ready to hit the goal that I have been shooting for.
So, until tomorrow....
How are you guys doing on your weigh losses?

The show was fantastic!! I regret not taking my camera. I also really wanted to get you flowers, but when we stopped to get them Sunday, so they'd be fresh, they were all out of any that didn't look too Valentinsey. Is that a word?

Anyhoo, as far as my weight...the WiiFit said I gained 3.5lbs! I'm so confused. I think the Red Lobster dinner we had over the weekend must have been loaded with sodium. That and I'm pretty sure I'm doing some fat/muscle exchanging right now from all the workouts. My measurements are encouraging though. My arms and thighs are down a little bit. We can't always rely on the scale when changing things, I suppose.

I'll bet as soon as you get back in the swing of things, you'll drop those few pounds you gained really fast! See you soon!

TBH I didn't notice anything until you pointed it out! It looks like you had a ball, I wish I could have seen it. Were you nervous? Did you remember your lines? Glad you're back in blog world, though, I've missed you.

OK- don't know if this is going through twice or not. Anywho, I heart you and your lopsided boobs.
And I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have noticed unless you mentioned it, so I'm sure the audience was enthralled with your acting and not your, er... action. :)
SO glad y'all had a wonderful time! You both look great!

LeeAnn - I have a WiiFit, too and my weight on there varies from day to day. I think it lies like you wouldn't believe :)
Charlie - great pics! I need to get my butt back in gear - I Have failed horribly at my challenge to myself . . . as in I only did it that first week. Maybe I should try for 3 days a week to start . . . :)

Looks like so much fun! I agree with the previous poster, you look great in red! Wish I could have seen the show. Don't stress about gaining some - just get back on the wagon & chug along! Maybe the little bit of weight gain will even "jumpstart" your system!
I've lost about 14 lbs since starting WW 3 1/2 weeks ago. Sounds good, but it's such a small teardrop in the ocean of weight that I have to lose :-(

Hey girl! I would not have noticed that one of your Girlfriends was lagging behind if you hadn't mentioned it either!LOL So glad that play was all that you wanted and more. I wish I could have seen it.

I'm not doing so good with the weight, but I can tell by inches that I've got something going on. I haven't watched what I ate the past couple days--well, except just seeing it go in my mouth.lol I did talk to my doc yesterday and she said that I'm probably not getting enough protein. *sig* I can't help it that my body is craving salad twice a day. I need to tell it no.

I registered for sHE Speaks the other day! I am so excited. Now I'm praying for God to bring the sponsorship along.
